Simple Elegant Card Stampin' Up

This is an elegant way to use scraps.   Using the Beautiful Friendship stamp I made my own DSP.  This little scrap with this piece from the Forever Gold Laser Cut paper reminded me of some of the beautiful decorations in Asia for Chinese New Year.   Shop for everything here

There are so many great products on sale now.  Two things that I couldn't believe and had to grab were the circle punches.

 I love my dies but sometimes a punch is just so much quicker.  

Tear and Tape this is an awesome adhesive when doing boxes and 3D items.

 The Layering Square dies and Stitched Shape dies have been so helpful and I'll use them until they, well die.

This was such an easy card.  
Card Base  5 1/2" x 4 1/4" Night of Navy

Matt layer 5 1/2" x 4" Granny apple green

Stamp layer 5 1/2" x 3 3/4" Basic White

One piece of paper torn randomly to use as a mask.  Using the blending brushes add the lightest color through the middle of the open space between the masks.  Add the dark color randomly along the edge and stamp randomly.
